Update Oct 5 2022:
Japan Post has released a fix and this issue is now resolved. Shipments to Ireland will resume as usual.
Japan Post has informed us that An Post requires all shipments to include a 10-digit TARIC code; however, Japan Post's software currently does not support enough digits to comply.
They will be able to implement a solution in October 2022. Until Japan Post rolls out support for 10-digit TARIC codes, we will not be able to ship to orders out to Ireland and will be holding them until the issue with TARIC code support is addressed.
If I place an order now, will you ship it out now? If not, when?
- Due to these ongoing issues, we are currently holding ALL orders bound for Ireland until further notice.
- If you are planning on making an order, please understand that we will not be shipping your order out yet. Until we are able to make certain our shipments are able to clear Irish customs and deliver to you, we will hold all shipments to Ireland due to the very high chance it may be returned.
- Cancellations due to an order not yet shipped for these reasons will be subject to our standard restocking fee.
Why is my shipment to Ireland being returned to sender?
- If your order has been returned due to TARIC code reasons and you want it re-shipped, you WILL NOT be required to pay re-shipping costs.
- If you would like to have your order re-shipped, please understand that we will not re-ship your order until TARIC code support has been introduced through Japan Post.
- If you would prefer to cancel your order due to this, we can cancel your order. Please reach out to our support team with your order number and request to cancel.
- Once we have confirmed we can re-ship orders to Ireland without issue, we will send a new shipment notification to you.
We are incredibly sorry for the inconvenience of this situation and will continue to do our best to resolve it.
